I am so proud of my friend, ucumari! She realized a dream this year and went with Polar Bears International to watch the polar bears. Ucumari has a special love for polar bears. Regular visitors will recall her photos of Willie, the polar bear at the zoo. Now.. she has been posting photos of polar bears in the wild! And some really, REALLY great shots, too!! I'd love to post them all.... but this one.. really stands out for me.

Needless to say.. I LOVE ucumari's polar bear shots!! And I hope to one day realize my dream as well... seeing the polar bears AND the aurora!!

It has been awhile since I blogged a new photo. Leave it to I-Ting to catch my eye with an outstanding image.

The water looks so inviting, yet I know it must be very cold! Much like our weather here. Two weeks of lake effect snow here! And so early in the season, too!

But at Iceberg Lake.. that snow and ice belong. :)
